Who is Hindu Goddess Saraswati?

Goddess Saraswati is the symbol of knowledge, music, arts, science and learning; including communication and speech. 

Saraswatiji wears white to signify purity in her actions and speech. Speak the truth, let your words be kind, not hurting the feelings of others. She sits on a white lotus representing knowledge and truth. In her four hands she carries a mala (prayer beads) which represent spiritual knowledge, two hands hold the veena, a stringed instrument symbolising the tuning of one's mind and body. 

Puzzle features:  

• The mantra in the border of the puzzle is a prayer you can say daily to Saraswatiji. Praying to her and asking for her blessings as you begin your studies.
• For the Saraswati 45 piece jigsaw puzzle, pieces are about 3 x 4cm in size and the completed puzzle is 20 x 28 cm (just a touch smaller than A4). 
• The pieces sit nicely in the cardboard tray, helping little ones build their motor skills and memory as they learn to start puzzles from the edges—even without the picture to guide them!
• Over time, pieces may feel a bit looser with play, and colours might look slightly different in person compared to photos. Don’t worry—we’ve popped the puzzle into a resealable plastic envelope so it stays safe and tidy.
